How to choose a window cleaning robot

  1. Corners and edges

    HOBOT says the 2S reaches about 80% of each corner, and its Edge-Leakage Sensors detect the slight lift at the edge of frameless glass. The HOBOT-298 cleans in a linear pattern on framed windows.

  2. Spray

    The HOBOT-298 has one ultrasonic spray nozzle; the 2S has two that spray in three directions.

  3. Safety first

    Both hang from a safety rope and hold on for 20 minutes on a backup battery, with an alert, if the power drops. Always tie the rope off before running the robot.
