A repeatable stall is a diagnosable stall: the location is the diagnosis. Robots strand for four underlying reasons (terrain, traction, sensing, or the map), and the fix hierarchy runs from removing the cause, through restoring the machine, to excluding the area.

Most pairing failures are network behavior, not a faulty robot. Nearly every home robot is 2.4 GHz only and cannot see a 5 GHz band at all: that single fact explains the majority of failed setups. App permissions are the next most common cause.

Satellite positioning needs three things working at once: sky view at the mower, sky view at the reference antenna, and a live correction link between them. Identify which one has failed: total loss, spot-specific loss, and gradual degradation each point somewhere different.

A mower that never reaches its dock and one that docks but never charges look identical in the app and share almost no causes. Split the two first, then work the right path: approach clearance, dock level, positioning at the station, and contact cleanliness on the docking side; contacts, outlet and GFCI, cable runs, battery temperature and firmware on the charging side.
