Why book a pro

What does setting up a Yarbo involve?

A Yarbo finds its way with RTK positioning and cameras. Three things have to be right on day one. A local installer can do them on site.

  1. Yarbo Data Center, the RTK antenna unit

    Place the Data Center

This is the RTK antenna. It needs a spot with an open view of the sky.

  2. Yarbo docking station

    Set the docking station

The robot returns here to charge, so it needs level ground and a clear way in.

  3. Yarbo Core robot on tracks

    Map the yard

Work areas, no-go zones and the paths between them are drawn in the Yarbo app.

Buying a Mowrator instead?

The Mowrator S1 is remote controlled, so there is no base to place and no map to draw. If you want a hand with your first run, ask the installer.

Setup parts are from Yarbo's own guides. What a visit covers is agreed between you and the installer.

How it works

From your order to a robot that knows your yard

  1. You

    Order your robot

Buy your robot from Yard Automation Pros. It ships to your door.

  2. You or us

    Reach the installer

Call or email the installer yourself, or ask us and we pass your address along.

  3. Installer

    Get your quote

The installer looks at a satellite view of your property and quotes the job, so you know the cost before you book.

  4. Installer

    Book and pay direct

You book the visit and pay the installer at their normal rates. Later service goes through them too.

Installers are independent businesses. They set their own prices and dates.

Questions

Local install questions

How much does installation cost?
Pricing is quoted per property. The installer looks at a satellite view of your yard and gives you the cost before you book.
Who do I pay?
You book and pay the installer directly, at their normal rates. Installation is not part of your Yard Automation Pros order.
Are the installers part of Yard Automation Pros?
No. They are independent local businesses that we work with and recommend. They are not part of Yard Automation Pros, Yarbo or Mowrator.
How soon can a visit be booked?
That is up to the installer. Outdoor setup depends on the weather, so ask them for dates when you get your quote.
Who looks after the robot later?
Follow up service and maintenance are booked with the installer directly. Warranty questions go to us at Support@yardautomationpros.com.
What if there is no installer near me?
Call (423) 927-3776 or email Support@yardautomationpros.com. We will help with setup remotely or look for someone near you.
