The HOBOT-2S is HOBOT's dual-spray window cleaning robot. Two ultrasonic nozzles turn water into a 15 micrometer mist and spray it onto the glass as the robot cleans, so there is no spraying by hand. Two replaceable 26 ml tanks hold the water or HOBOT window detergent.
Edge-Leakage Sensors detect the edge of the glass, including frameless panes, and HOBOT rates corner coverage at about 80%. The robot cleans in a zigzag then N-way pattern with three automatic modes, at 64 dB.
The HOBOT app updates the firmware and lets you set your own voice prompt. Tie the 4.5 m safety rope to an indoor fixture before each run; a built-in battery keeps the robot on the glass for 20 minutes if the power fails.
