The HOBOT-298 is a window cleaning robot that sprays as it cleans. Its ultrasonic nozzle, running at 108 kHz, turns water or HOBOT window detergent into a 15 micrometer mist, and a microfiber pad wipes the glass. The 40 ml tank covers about 40 square meters of glass, per HOBOT.
A Nidec brushless motor with a metal fan holds the robot to the glass with 6.0 kg of suction at 64 dB. It works on windows larger than 40 x 40 cm (about 16 x 16 in), with three automatic cleaning modes.
Always tie the safety rope, rated 150 kgf, to a fixture indoors. If the power fails, the built-in battery keeps the robot on the glass for 20 minutes while it sounds an alert.
