What the Snow Blower Module Is
The Yarbo Snow Blower Module is an attachment that turns any Yarbo Core into a fully autonomous snow clearing machine. It connects through the Core's quick-swap modular connector and is controlled entirely through the Yarbo app. You do not need a separate machine, a separate battery, or a separate docking station. Whatever you already have running the Core handles the Snow Blower Module too.
This matters because it changes the economics significantly. If you already own a Core for mowing or leaf blowing, adding the Snow Blower Module means your property is covered year-round by a single machine for a fraction of the price of a second robot.
What It Actually Does
Two-stage clearing with a 24-inch wide path and a 12-inch intake height. It pulls dry, wet, and packed snow through in one pass and throws it up to 40 feet with a chute that rotates 200 degrees. You control exactly where snow lands through the app.
It connects to live weather forecasting and starts clearing automatically when snow falls. Before a forecasted storm, it pre-clears. When the battery drops to 20 percent, it docks itself, recharges in 90 minutes, and resumes at 80 percent. You never touch the app to start or stop a clearing cycle. It runs through the entire storm and docks when it is done.
Gravel Mode raises the intake up to 2 inches off the surface so it skims cleanly over loose stone without pulling it into the machine. Map your gravel zones once and it adjusts automatically on every run.
Standard operating range is -13°F to 113°F. With optional heating modules for the battery and drivetrain, it operates down to -40°F.
Who It Is Built For
The Snow Blower Module makes the most sense for three types of buyers.
First, existing Yarbo Core owners who want to extend what they already have. If your Core mows in summer and you want it working in winter too, this is the cleanest possible way to do it. Same machine, same dock, same app, same battery.
Second, buyers who want to start with snow clearing and expand later. The module is $1,299 on its own, but it requires a Core. The Snow Blower bundle at $4,299 includes the Core, module, battery, and dock together. If you plan to add a second module later, the bundle is the smarter entry point because you already own the Core you need.
Third, larger property owners who want autonomous coverage without managing a seasonal crew. On driveways up to 6 acres, the Yarbo handles clearing with no ongoing service contract and no early morning involvement.
What It Does Not Do
It does not work without a Yarbo Core. If you do not own one, you need the bundle or to purchase a Core separately.
It does not work on soft, deep gravel pits where the stone is more than 2 inches deep throughout. Gravel Mode handles typical packed gravel driveways cleanly, but very loose, deep gravel beds are a different situation.
It does not replace a commercial-grade plow for truly extreme accumulation events, think 24 inches or more in a single storm. For most residential and estate properties, it handles everything. For commercial-scale clearing, it is not the right tool.
Is It Worth It?
For existing Core owners, the answer is almost always yes. The cost of a seasonal snow-removal contract, typically $500 to $1,500 per season depending on your location and property size, adds up quickly with no asset to show for it. A module you own pays for itself in a few seasons and keeps working year after year.
For first-time buyers, the question is really whether to start with the module alone (which requires sourcing a Core separately) or go straight to the Snow Blower bundle, which includes everything you need. For most buyers, the bundle is the cleaner path.
