The AquaSense 2 cleans floor, walls and waterline. The 2 Pro adds the surface and water clarifying. The 2 Ultra adds an AI camera that maps the pool and goes back for missed leaves.
Last updated: October 2026
The AquaSense 2 cleans the floor, walls and waterline of pools up to 3,230 square feet and charges on a wireless dock. The AquaSense 2 Pro adds surface cleaning and ClearWater clarifying, with a 13,400 mAh battery for pools up to 3,875 square feet. The AquaSense 2 Ultra adds an AI camera, 27 sensors and side brushes that sweep floating debris in. All three carry a 36 month warranty on the main body.

Every figure is Beatbot's. Where Beatbot's listing for a model does not give a figure, the table says so.
| Beatbot figure | AquaSense 2 | AquaSense 2 Pro | AquaSense 2 Ultra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zones | Floor, walls, waterline | Surface, waterline, walls, floor | Surface, waterline, walls, floor |
| Recommended pool floor | 3,230 sq ft | 3,875 sq ft | Not listed |
| Suction | 5,500 GPH | 5,500 GPH | 5,500 GPH |
| Battery | 10,000 mAh | 13,400 mAh | 13,400 mAh |
| Floor runtime | Up to 4 hours | Not listed | 5 hours |
| Surface runtime | No surface mode | Up to 11 hours | Up to 10 hours |
| Sensors | 16 | 22 | 27, with AI camera |
| Motors | Not listed | 9 | 11 |
| Water clarifying | No | ClearWater | ClearWater |
| Warranty, main body | 36 months | 36 months | 36 months |
Beatbot describes the 5,500 GPH figure as the highest rate in its lab tests.
The Beatbot AquaSense 2 is the three-zone model.
Suits: a pool up to 3,230 sq ft that does not collect much floating debris, or one that already has a surface skimmer.
The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro is the four-zone model.
Suits: pools with trees, larger pools, and owners who want clearer water without adding clarifier by hand.

The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra adds sight.
Suits: owners who want to check the work, pools with irregular shapes, and heavy leaf fall where a second look at the floor pays off.
It is a clarifier dispenser built into the robot. A clarifier makes tiny suspended particles clump together so filters can remove them, which is how cloudy water turns clear. Beatbot's agent is made from recycled crab shell.
You need it if your water often looks dull despite balanced chemistry, or if you already use a clarifier. You do not need it if your water stays clear. It does not sanitize and is not an algaecide. See do robotic pool cleaners clean algae?
If you net the pool often, yes. Floating leaves that are removed never reach the floor. The 2 Pro and 2 Ultra spend up to 10 or 11 hours skimming on a charge. If your pool sits in the open and stays clear on top, the AquaSense 2 covers what you need. See do robotic pool cleaners pick up leaves?
Robots without a camera follow a planned pattern and trust it. A camera lets the Ultra confirm what is on the floor and return for leaves that were missed or that sank mid-cycle. The app map also shows you where it went, which helps if one corner keeps being missed.
The first-generation Beatbot AquaSense is still available. Per Beatbot it is recommended for pool floors up to 2,260 sq ft, with 5,500 GPH suction, 15 sensors and a 2 L top-access basket, and a 24 month warranty on the main body. It suits smaller pools.
Above all of them. The Beatbot AquaSense X comes with the AstroRinse station, which rinses the filter and empties the debris in about 3 minutes into a 22 L bin. Beatbot says the bin can go up to 2 months between emptying. It cleans five zones: surface, waterline, walls, floor and shallow platforms at least 13.7 inches deep. Choose it if emptying and rinsing a basket is the part you want gone.
| Your situation | Our starting pick |
|---|---|
| Pool up to 3,230 sq ft, clear surface | AquaSense 2 |
| Trees nearby, or water that turns cloudy | AquaSense 2 Pro |
| Want a map and a robot that rechecks the floor | AquaSense 2 Ultra |
| Do not want to empty a basket | AquaSense X |
| Smaller pool under 2,260 sq ft | AquaSense |
Beatbot's Sora line has higher rated suction (6,800 GPH) and larger baskets. AquaSense has more sensors, wireless docks and clarifying. See Beatbot Sora 10 vs 30 vs 70.
Beatbot ships your order, normally within 48 hours, with an average transit of 3 to 7 business days, per its shipping policy. It does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or military post boxes. Shipping cost is shown at checkout.
Beatbot covers the main body for 36 months on the AquaSense 2, 2 Pro and 2 Ultra in the United States, from the date of purchase. Filter baskets and roller brushes are covered for 3 months.

Three zones: AquaSense 2. Four zones and clearer water: 2 Pro. Four zones, a camera and a map: 2 Ultra.

The 2 Pro adds surface cleaning, ClearWater clarifying and a larger 13,400 mAh battery, and is recommended for pool floors up to 3,875 sq ft against 3,230.
An AI camera with 27 sensors, a pool map and cleaning path in the app, side brushes for floating debris, and a second look for leaves left on the floor.
No. It cleans the floor, walls and waterline. The 2 Pro and 2 Ultra add the surface.
A built-in system that spreads a clarifying agent made from recycled crab shell to bind fine particles, per Beatbot. The agent kit is sold separately.
36 months on the main body in the United States, per Beatbot. Filter baskets and roller brushes are covered for 3 months.
