Living with a Betta

Betta is made to stay in the pool and clean 24/7. A little care keeps it at its best.

Empty the basket

Dock Betta at the edge, open the cover and lift the basket out by its handle. Rinse the mesh so water flows freely, more often in leaf season.

Keep the panel clean

Wipe the solar panel and body with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then rinse. A white mineral film is normal. Never use a pressure washer.

Store it for winter

Take Betta out when air temperatures reach 32°F or below. Clean it, switch it off and store it indoors, somewhere cool and dry.
