The Degrii Zima Pro is a cordless submerged pool cleaner. It cleans floor, walls, and waterline, and it pairs with a floating battery platform that carries the pack and the status indicators. It is controlled from the Degrii app over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, or directly from buttons on the platform.
It does not work on land. The robot must be in the water before you can drive it from the app.
Setup
Pair the app
- Install the Degrii app and tap Agree to grant the permissions it requests. Pairing will not complete without them.
- Tap Sign Up to create an account, or Log In if you already have one.
- Search for your robot manually to pair it.
- Connect it to your home or pool Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Use a 2.4 GHz network — see our Wi-Fi and pairing guide if it will not connect.
- Enter your pool shape and size accurately. The robot uses this to estimate cleaning time; a wrong figure produces wrong time estimates and confusing progress reporting.
- Confirm the app and firmware are both current before the first run.
Put the robot in the water correctly
- Lower it in vertically so trapped air escapes. Hold it until the bubbles stop.
- Confirm it sinks to the bottom and does not hover or float. A unit that will not sink has air trapped in a dirty filter basket.
- Check the floating battery platform is clear of obstructions.
- Start from the app, or press START on the platform — the robot begins after about 15 seconds.
Cleaning modes
- Overall — floor and walls
- Floor Only
- Wall Only — walls and waterline
- Manual — drive it yourself; also the mode that lets you exercise the LED indicators
In automatic mode the robot moves to the nearest edge when the cycle completes, or when battery drops to 10%. If it stops somewhere you cannot reach, use Manual Mode to drive it closer rather than fishing for it.
Status light guide
This model reports through LEDs on the floating battery platform rather than numeric error codes.
| Indicator | What it means |
|---|---|
| Battery, Wi-Fi and Mode LEDs on | Powered on |
| Battery LED blinking | Charging |
| Four battery LEDs | Battery level; all four lit means full |
| Wi-Fi LED blinking | Waiting to pair |
| Wi-Fi LED steady | Connected |
| Wi-Fi LED off | Disconnected |
| No LEDs lit | Robot is off |
Resets
- Wi-Fi reset: with the device on, press and hold Mode for 5 seconds. The Wi-Fi LED starts blinking when the reset completes.
- Factory reset: with the device on, press and hold Start/Standby for 5 seconds. All eight indicators light, then go out, then the Wi-Fi icon blinks. This clears your pairing and pool configuration — you will set it up again from scratch.
Common issues
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Will not power on | Flat battery, or damaged cord | Confirm it has charge. Inspect the charging cord for damage. If neither, contact us. |
| Will not charge | Damaged cord, or the wrong charger | Inspect the cord. Confirm you are using the original charger — this model specifies DZ072ADL255250F and no other. |
| Moving in circles | Low battery, debris blocking the impeller, or an obstruction jamming a wheel | Charge it. Open the impeller cover carefully and clear it. Confirm both wheels turn freely. |
| Missing areas of the pool | Irregular pool shape, or the pump and filter system running | Turn the pool equipment off while the robot works — currents push it off course. Use Manual Mode for awkward corners. |
| Will not sink | Air trapped because the filter basket is dirty or clogged | Empty and clean the filters, then submerge vertically until no bubbles escape. |
| Will not climb walls | Clogged filter, worn scrubbing brushes, or algae making the wall too slippery | Clean the filter canister and impeller area, replace worn brushes, and brush algae off the wall. |
Maintenance
- Lift the robot out vertically so water drains rather than sitting inside.
- Open the filter cover and remove the filters from both sides.
- Empty the debris and rinse with a hose. If still dirty, wash with soapy water and a soft bristle brush.
- Refit the filters and close the cover properly before the next run.
- Dry and store in a dry place — not in direct sunlight.
- In long-term storage, run at least one charge cycle per month and keep the pack between 30% and 50%.
Safety
- Do not enter the pool while the cleaner is in it.
- Do not charge the robot while it is running — switch it off first.
- Charge only with the original adapter and cord. Never use a damaged cord or an unauthorized extension lead.
- The device must be powered through a residual-current device rated at 30 mA or less.
- Make sure the connector and socket are dry and clean before charging.
- Keep it in a cool place while charging.
- The battery is not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to replace it. Contact us if it needs replacing.
- Beyond the routine cleaning above, the manufacturer recommends that any servicing be carried out by a professional qualified in pool equipment repair.

Warranty and escalation
Contact us first. Email Support@yardautomationpros.com or call (423) 927-3776, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time. Have your serial number, purchase date, and a description of the symptom ready. We rule out the causes that are not hardware, and if the fault is genuine we submit the claim and advocate for you.
Two things that affect coverage on this model specifically: improper installation or operation may void the warranty, and the sealed battery must not be replaced by anyone other than the manufacturer's service channel.
